I was taught that life was supposed to follow a schedule.

By a certain age, I should have everything figured out.

I should know where I'm going.

I should be moving faster, achieving more, checking off milestones one after another.

It's surprisingly easy to believe you're falling behind when everyone else's life seems to be unfolding right on time.

But the natural world has never expected everything to bloom at the same time.

Cherry blossoms don't wait for sunflowers.

Lavender doesn't hurry because roses arrived first.

Every plant follows its own rhythm, and somehow, the garden is more beautiful because of it.

Maybe we've been measuring ourselves against the wrong clock.

Maybe growth isn't about racing toward the next season.

There is no sense in trying to force a flower open.

You simply care for it, give it sunlight, and trust that it already knows what to do.

Perhaps that's when you discover that your own pace has been the right pace all along.
